About me
With extensive experience treating chronic pain, complex cases, and long-term conditions, my focus is on providing personalised, hands-on therapy for clients of all ages—from young athletes to retirees. The practice is grounded in empathy and a deep commitment to each person’s unique path to better health and well-being.
Specialising in a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, the approach covers everything from acute sports injuries to the chronic joint and muscle concerns that commonly arise with ageing. For retired adults, treatments are designed to help maintain or restore mobility, manage age-related pain, and support an active, independent lifestyle. Understanding the physical challenges that can come with later life, the aim is always to support vitality and quality of life.
With experience in treating sports injuries, both acute and overuse-related, effective methods are applied to help athletes and active individuals return to the activities they love. Through detailed assessments and skilled joint and muscle mobilisation, treatments focus on efficient recovery, strength regain, and performance enhancement, while reducing the risk of re-injury.
Training includes British Medical Acupuncture, along with ongoing study towards a diploma in Western Medical Acupuncture, allowing for an integrated approach to pain management and recovery. This added expertise in acupuncture complements the hands-on techniques, providing additional options for pain reduction, muscle relaxation, and enhanced recovery.
For those navigating the physical changes of retirement, recovering from sports injuries, or managing chronic conditions, the approach is hands-on, evidence-based, and centred on individual goals. Working together, the aim is to achieve better movement, less pain, and a higher quality of life.
